We have increased our supply chain sources to alleviate any major disruptions to product shipments despite COVID-19 worldwide supply chain issues.
With all of the uncertainty surrounding COVID-19, many of us are left wondering how the coming months will unfold and how the pandemic will impact our daily lives. Here at Compliant Packaging we are fielding many questions regarding our packaging supply chain and how we’re being impacted by COVID-19. As an organization, we are committed to keeping our valued customers abreast of any changes in our daily operations that can impact their bottom-line. In the spirit of full transparency, we would like to share some pertinent information that will ensure your packaging needs are met even in these uncertain times.
Compliant Packing Supply Chain & COVID-19
Despite all of the pressure being placed on supply chains around the globe, our production timelines have only increased by 10 to 14 days. We are expecting a continued but minimal backup in our supply chain, hence the relatively small increase in production timelines. If you anticipate a need for new product in the coming weeks and/or months, we encourage you to place your orders as soon as possible to allow a bit more time for production.
We have worked with both of our manufacturers in China for many years, neither of which are located in or near Wuhan City, China. Their commitment to excellence in production and delivery has enabled us to continue to meet your needs, even through the crisis in China. As an extra level of precaution, we are increasing our North American supply chain resources to avoid any unforeseen disruptions to product shipments. In doing so, we are increasing our manufacturing capabilities, keeping pricing steady and maintaining the health of our supply chain. Finally, we are not currently experiencing any changes to shipping times, enabling us to maintain consistency on the delivery front.
Scarcity in the US Supply Chain
While we are maintaining a steady flow of cannabis packaging supplies, our industry is not untouched by the scarcity mindset that is impacting us all. Not unlike your local supermarket, our warehouse shelves are quickly being depleted as our customers from coast to coast stock up. Again, if you anticipate a need in the coming weeks, or months, reach out to our team and get those orders in!
Safety First
Our team members here at Compliant Packaging are our most valuable asset. In an effort to do our part to protect our team, as well as the most vulnerable members of our community, we too are practicing social distancing. The only employees still reporting to the office are those in dispersing and receiving.
