Having been recently promoted to National Sales Manager, Aaron’s primary focus is on client service, as it has been since he joined our team in 2019. From product selection to design, production and delivery; Aaron is there to ensure an exceptional experience through each phase of the customer journey.

A Career in Cannabis Packaging Long in the Making
Prior to joining the cannabis industry Aaron was an industrial fire inspector mainly working on ocean tankers coming into the port of St. Croix in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Once recreational cannabis legalization began to take off in the U.S., Aaron transitioned his career into the extraction side of the cannabis industry. This was a natural progression due to his experience working with hydrocarbons used in the hash extraction process.
Aaron’s father is the owner, packaging engineer and account manager for Balkin Products Packaging Incorporated. Aaron spent much of his youth and early adulthood working in the warehouse and as a sales associate for his father. It was only natural that he eventually began working in cannabis packaging after meeting one of Compliant Packaging’s reps in 2018.
Aaron’s Integral Role at Compliant Packaging Operations
Aaron’s commitment to customer service combined with his passion for the cannabis industry and his background in packaging make him an invaluable asset to the Compliant Packaging team. When asked what his goal is as an account manager at Compliant Packaging, Aaron said it well. “My main goal with Compliant Packaging is to provide the best possible customer service for all of my customers. Whether the customer is a small start-up or a large corporation I want to make sure that we as a team provide them individual attention and make sure they have full visibility into the whole process. Our success shows as we continue to gain repeat customers.”
Aaron joined the team in 2019 as he saw the position as an opportunity to build relationships with cannabis companies locally and across the country. Though his biggest deciding factor was the opportunity to sell LocTins™. When asked what he likes most about his role, Aaron says he enjoys meeting like minded people in the cannabis space that are just as passionate about the industry as he is.
While Aaron really enjoys his work, it does not come without challenges. Like many of us, the COVID crisis has introduced new obstacles into Aaron’s everyday work life. Prior to COVID Aaron was able to regularly attend trade shows and cannabis events that would allow him to get in front of the cannabis community. Over the last year he has found new and innovative ways to connect with his existing client base while cultivating new relationships as well.
When asked what he wants Complaint’s customers to expect when they interact with him, Aaron simply says “I want them to expect a prompt reply and to know that we will be there to support them through every step of the process.”
When he’s not hard at work at Compliant Packaging, you will find Aaron camping in the mountains with his wife and two daughters. An avid outdoorsman, Aaron and his family consider themselves lucky to live in the great state of Colorado and want to explore every mile.
